About Us

Sundance Rodeo Club exists to preserve the Western traditions of Wyoming and to help young people grow through rodeo. We believe the values this sport teaches: hard work, respect for animals, accountability, and getting back up when things go wrong. These are the same values that built our community, and our job is to pass them on.

Our biggest goal is renovating the rodeo arena at the Crook County Fairgrounds. The arena was built in 1978, and its bucking chutes and fencing no longer meet the standards required by sanctioned rodeo associations. 

With updated chutes, fencing, and panels, Sundance could host National Little Britches Rodeo Association or Wyoming High School Rodeo Association events, bringing young competitors and their families to Crook County from across the region.
